Jason Neff, Professor, ENVS and Geology
Jason Neff received his BA from CU Boulder and his Ph.D. in 1999 from Stanford University. Neff’s research focuses on human impacts on ecosystems and ecological responses to land use and climate change and he has worked in ecosystems around the world including the Amazon, Siberia and extensively in the western United States. Neff’s work has been profiled in the New York Times, NPR, and in many major newspapers and his current research focuses on potential climate change impacts on ecosystems in the boreal regions and western U.S. Prior to coming to the University of Colorado, Neff worked for the US Geological Survey.
