Designing a Program for Graduate/Postdoc Ethics Education at CU

Mark Winey, MCD Professor

An informal discussion with Mark Winey, MCD Professor and chair of the CU steering committee on responsible conduct of research (RCR) education.

The National Science Foundation (NSF) will soon require that universities provide ‘appropriate training and oversight in the responsible and ethical conduct of research to undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers’ participating in NSF research projects. Are there issues that you think are important to address in such training? This is your opportunity to provide input to the steering committee as they devise an ethics education plan for the campus.

Refreshments will be provided.

Please RSVP to Ursula Rick. Space is limited.
