Timothy Rehde, Environmental Protection Agency
Timothy Rehder is the EPA’s Environmental Management System/Green Building Coordinator out of Denver. He received his BS in Geology from Western State of Colorado and a MS in Geology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Timothy has worked almost 20 yrs for the EPA.
Some of his projects include:
- managing cleanup of Denver Radium Site (removal of 80,000 tons of radioactive dirt from 40 properties along Platte River in Denver)
- managed cleaup of Ramp Industries Inc. (removal of 4,000 drums of radioactive waste from abandoned facility nr low-income housing)
- Special assignment to U.S. Army Europe to develop pollution prevention programs.
- Overseeing Department of Energy's $8,000,000,000 cleanup of Rocky Flats (former nuclear weapons facility)
