Jacob Lorenz, Account Executive, Travelers Insurance
Jacob Lorenz graduated with an Environmental Studies degree from CU-Boulder in 1999. He was first hired by Travelers Insurance as an Associate Account Executive in January of 2000, at which time he handled environmental litigation and toxic torts as a member of the Special Liability Group, until October of 2009. At that time his job function changed from claims adjuster to underwriter, and he moved from the Travelers Environmental Claim unit to their Commercial Energy Insurance unit. During that time he also earned his MBA from CU-Denver. Jacob continues to stand by his core beliefs of maintaining passion, energy, and engagement for environmental issues and staying true to his personal value system, even in the corporate world when it can mean swimming against the current.
Bonus: Free Pizza! (and organic juice)
