A bad summer day at the NorthGRIP drilling site (North Greenland Ice core Project), Greenland Ice Sheet, July 2004. The main dome was buffeted by wind and blowing snow. The Stable Isotope Lab headed by James White (ENVS, Geological Sciences, & INSTAAR faculty) has participated in both the ice core drilling and subsequent detailed core analysis. Photo: J. White (INSTAAR).
