Undergraduates led the way in creating environmental studies at CU.

With an undergraduate enrollment of around 1000, environmental studies ranks as the fifth largest major at CU-Boulder.

Undergraduates have studied environmental issues at the University of Colorado for over 50 years. The major has grown from a small Geography major in Conservation Education to the current full academic program.
