John is in the PhD program in Environmental Studies, with a secondary core focus on water policy. His research is on western water policy, with a focus on the Colorado River. His interests are in developing and influencing Colorado River governance, in such a way that is sustainable and adaptable given great uncertainty in future supplies and demands. John received a M.H.S. in Environmental Health Sciences from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a B.A. in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University.
