Lisa earned an MS degree in environmental sociology and an MBA with a dual focus in real estate and sustainability. She also has received LEED accreditation. Her research has concentrated on renewable energy, affordable housing, and sustainable planning and development.

Lisa came to CU from Maine via Boston University where she received her undergraduate degree in English with a minor in environmental science.
