After graduation, Joel worked as a Meteorologist and Modeling Analyst for ICAT Managers, a Hurricane and Earthquake insurance company. In early 2010, Joel turned a hobby of snow forecasting into a business, leaving ICAT and working on the Colorado Powder Forecast, which provides entertaining weather forecasts to skiers and snowboarders looking for great snow. Joel currently is developing plans to expand the scope and geography of this business.
