Christopher attended the University of California at Santa Cruz for his undergraduate degree, and spent the next five years teaching English in Europe and Asia, working as a legal advocate for the San Francisco homeless population, and cutting down the beautiful forests of Lake Tahoe. He is interested in forestry policy in developing nations.
