Originally from New England, Scott graduated from Middlebury College in 2000 with a joint degree in Environmental Studies and English. After graduating he worked in the conservation field teaching natural science education, collecting data on sea turtles, and working with renewable energy.

After receiving his MBA/MS from the University of Colorado, Scott currently works for Juwi Solar.
