Liz works in management consulting as a research analyst at BCS, Inc. in Arvada, Colorado. BCS is a government contractor, and she provides support for the US Department of Energy's Industrial Technologies Program.

Liz received a dual MBA/MS degree with an emphasis in Energy. During the summer of 2009, Liz worked with CU Senior Research Associate Barbara Farhar on a study examining Boulder residents' motivations for participating in Xcel Energy’s SmartGrid City project.

She also interned at WhiteWave Foods Co., developing training modules to educate employees about sustainability issues ranging from recycling to renewable energy. Liz plans to continue exploring the issue of how to effectively motivate individuals and businesses to engage in environmentally-conscious behavior.

She graduated from Haverford College in 2002 with a BA in psychology.
