Laura Makar received an MS in Environmental Studies and a JD through the School of Law. She is interested in bridging the gap between science and law. Her previous research has focused on tropical forest fragmentation and edge effects on avifauna as well as environmental justice research with children in Denver. A Colorado native, Laura loves all the outdoor recreation opportunities available in Boulder. Laura works for an Aspen law firm concerned with environmental issues.
