Jennifer Pollock (formerly Gaines) earned her bachelor's degree in Environmental Biology at the University of California Davis. She currently works with the U.S. Geological Survey, Biological Resources Discipline in Denver as a program manager for the National Biological Information Infrastructure. She facilitates communication between science and the public by providing natural resources data and information via the Web. As a student in Environmental Studies, she focuses on policy issues especially as they relate to public lands.
