After getting my degree in Molecular & Environmental Biology at Berkeley, I came to Colorado to study economical ways to get renewable energy to the (rapidly) developing world. While the potential for microfinance to interact with renewable energy is what sparked my interest in this area, I hope not to start with the premise that such strategies are the way to go, and have been expanding my ideas for how to solve such challenges in the fantastic interdisciplinary environment of Boulder!
