Donna Tucker, born in Miami, Florida, a 4th generation Floridian. Twenty five year resident of Colorado where she owns and operate an organic truck farm. Currently a doctoral student in Environmental Studies at the University of Colorado-Boulder. B.A. from Florida State University (English and Biology), B.A./M.A. from the University of Colorado (ENVS Studies and Env Public Policy), M.S. from University of Colorado (Fall 2004)(Env Studies). Research interests include: The environmental history of South Florida and the American West; cooperative/collaborative management of natural resources in the American West and the natural history of the Everglades. Prior academic work includes research on Florida panther recovery efforts, GO Colorado funding allocations, Colorado's regulatory structure for hog farms, and collaborative decision making within the Forest Service in Northern New Mexico. Currently researching the environmental history of South Florida. In addition she is on contract with the National Park Service at Grand Teton National Park to do archival research.
