Environmental Studies Scholarships 2009 Deadline April 6, 2009
WICKHOLM SCHOLARSHIP
The Kim Wickholm Memorial Scholarship annually provides financial aid to a student in the Environmental Studies program. The fund seeks to encourage and reward those students who qualify academically, show concern for the natural environment, and wish to pursue careers in Environmental Studies. Mr. and Mrs. Donald M. Wickholm established the fund in memory of their son, Kim Wickholm, a 1976 graduate in Environmental Conservation.
AMOUNT: The scholarship amount is approximately $1,000.
ELIGIBILITY: Only full-time students with a declared major in Environmental Studies are eligible. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic performance and in the case of equal qualifications, financial means will be a consideration. Previous awardees may re-apply in subsequent years but must compete each year with all of that year’s applicants.
GIBSON SCHOLARSHIP
In the fall of 2005, a recent graduate from the Environmental Studies Program set up the Donald and Margaret Gibson Scholarship in honor of her grandparents.
