More information about the program's policies and procedures can be found on the ENVS Internal SharePoint site, but below is other general information including facility access. If you have other questions or need additional information about department operations, contact one of the appropriate staff members.

Building Access

The Environmental Studies Program is located in the Sustainability, Energy and Environment Complex (SEEC) on the University of Colorado Boulder's East Campus. The building is open and can be accessed by CU Boulder faculty, staff, students, and affiliates between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

ENVS faculty, staff, and students* who may need to have extended access (7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and weekends) should fill out the ENVS Building Access & Key Request webform. Students who require extended access to the building and/or need keys to any labs or office spaces require the permission of their faculty advisor/supervisor.

Building Access & Key Request

Note: A few buildings may maintain slightly different hours based on class schedules and staffing. The University Libraries, the Recreation Center, and the UMC publish their respective hours on their websites.

Logos and Templates

CU Boulder faculty, staff, and students can download logos, web graphics and other CU Boulder digital assets (like presentation templates) through CU's Brand & Messaging site. You will be asked for a few details about your project(s) and to confirm your willingness to comply with the university’s messaging and visual identity standards.

For ENVS logos and templates, log in to the ENVS Sharepoint.

Room Reservations

The Environmental Studies Program is located in the Sustainable, Energy and Environment Community (SEEC) building. The SEEC reservation calendar uses CU's Federated Identity Service for authentication. To schedule a room, you will need to log in using your Identikey. If you do not have a CU IdentiKey account, have questions about an existing reservation, or need additional assistance in making a reservation, please email Katie Lamb at katrina.lamb@colorado.edu.

For more information about reserving rooms in SEEC, please visit their Reservation Calendar resource page.

Transportation & Parking

CU Boulder's Parking Services offers a variety of permit options for faculty, staff, and students. It is possible to get around Boulder (and campus) without a car using alternative options such as the bus or a bike.

ENVS faculty and staff who wish to purchase a permit should fill out the Faculty and Staff Parking Permit Application and send it to the programs parking liaison, Edward Martinez.

More information for student permits is available on Parking Services Student Permit page.

Temporary permits are available to campus affiliates and visitors by phone at (303) 735-PARK (7275). Please have your license plate number available. For additional visitor parking options, view Parking Services Visitor Parking page.
